The Ethos of the Work:
The imagery is inspired by 1990's LA Wildstyle Graffiti, Saber1, Retna, MSK, the work employs graffiti principles without subject matter. Without the presence of a name, or characters, the interpreter is free to percieve a piece in a more open manner. Using the Wildstyle Graffiti elements as a vessel to convey the association of color, shape and motion to our primal human emotions.
The Logos of the Work:
Rarity. Exclusivity, and creating an importance with each piece. The work is rare. Limited, and timely. Originals will never be duplicated on Canvas. All 1 of 1 rubys, diamonds, and saphires comprised of oil, brushstrokes, canvas, and madness. Each canvas different, yet all in one family. The Print Runs are One Time Runs. The original is always retired after and once the Prints sell out, they won't be able to be run again.
The Pathos of the Work:
Easily interpreted, yet with countless roads to venture. Like previously said, the body of work is an understanding of our primal human responce to color, shape, and movement. How these elements intertwine to evoke different chemical reactions within our brain. How on a basic level, color, and Art in general can give someone a completely unintentional emotional reaction.
